Recreational Therapy is a state licensed allied health profession that utilizes recreation and other activity-based interventions to address the assessed needs of individuals with illnesses and/or disabling conditions, as a means to improve psychological and physical health, recovery and well-being.

Recreational Therapists utilize a variety of clinical activities and community based intervention techniques and are skilled in adapting leisure and recreation opportunities to meet specific needs of those we serve with a goal to improve quality of life and overall wellness.
